Born and raised in the Bay Area, Matt aspired for a greater life outside of tech and medicine so he moved to Los Angeles to work in the film industry. After a couple years of working in production as an Assistant Director, he shifted his focus to acting and voiceover in 2022.

Since then, he has acted in a number of on-screen projects for students and independent filmmakers, performed in an immersive theatre project with the Black Rabbit Theatre Company, taken an improv class at Groundlings with Alex Bonifer, and garnered voiceover experience doing audio description and dubbing.

His preferred genres to act in are drama and comedy. And as he says, “I’ve cried more this past year for acting than I have in my whole life.”
