Analisa Gutierrez-Morán
(she/her)
Analisa Gutierrez-Morán is a first-generation Mexican-American woman born and raised in East LA. In her senior year at LACHSA, she was honored as a YoungArts Winner and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, ranking her in the top 1% of young artists in the nation. Analisa matriculated to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts as a Dean’s Scholar to study at the New Studio on Broadway, Stonestreet Studios, and RADA. During school, she was featured in two episodes of HBO’s A YoungArts Masterclass with Anna Deavere Smith and Alan Alda (the latter winning an Emmy for “Outstanding Children’s Program”).
Outside of performing, Analisa built her curriculum “Acting for the Camera” to teach Latine students ages 5-14 at East LA’s Los Angeles Music and Art School, where she first started. She managed masterclasses with industry professionals for her students and successfully created the school’s first-ever film festival.
Analisa is ready to stop waiting for a seat at the table and build her own table by creating and supporting work that is actually representative of the world around us. Lastly, she is humbled to have worked with an incredible cast, is grateful to every guest, and gives love to her husband, family, and God above all. She is an active Board Member of Black Rabbit Theatre Company.
